Tuesday April 7th, 2009 Fron Lutheran Church, Starbuck, Mn

We will be working on the Emergency Preparedness Merit Badge and the BSA Emergency Preparedness Award. Some work will be required before or after the Camporee as some requirements need to be done at home or in the Unit meeting place.

Roundtable - January 6th, 7:30 pm, Fron Lutheran, Starbuck

Don’t forget round table the 6th in Starbuck for Lakes . We will be doing on line chartering for those of you that are having trouble or have not done one before. Please bring your rosters, and registration forms for new leaders. If you have everything you will be able to complete the form that night.

Bring your blue and gold and court of honor dates as well as your unit contact for in family FOS. Let’s work on getting this process out of the way early this year so we can focus on supplying the boys with the best program possible.

If you have boys that have not gotten their registration turned in please do so before the end of the year. The Council is very close to having traditional youth growth again this year and every boy counts.

Jim

Order of the Arrow Chapter 4 Meeting

The Order of The Arrow (OA) is meeting Tuesday, January 6, 7:00 pm, at Fron Lutheran Church in Starbuck (just before the monthly Roundtable meeting). This is an important meeting where we will kick off the yearly election process in our district. All elections must be done before April 1 (no joke!). This meeting is for all OA members (youth and adults) as well as all Scoutmasters (OA members or not). Topics include basic OA information and the election process. Please bring your troop’s schedule of meetings so that we can find a time to hold elections in your unit.

The Order of The Arrow is Scouting’s Honor Society: http://www.main.oa-bsa.org

Kid’s Against Hunger - November 11

For those of you in the Alexandria area please take note:

There is an excellent service project going on November the 11th from 6-8 PM,

It is called Kid’s against hunger. The bagging process will be at “the Pines” Which is located on 3993 Hwy 27 west just over the I 94 overpass on the left side. There should be signs out. This should be a must do event for the boys and their families. Your contact is Keith Redfield at 763 4126. Please look very closely at this project.

A Large part of what we are trying to instill in these young boys is the importance of helping not only their community but the world and this is an excellent opportunity.

Please call Keith before next Tuesday. I know some of you have your Pack meetings on Tuesday but there are some of you that don’t.

Let’s have a great turn out to help. Don't forget to post your time on the Good turn web site.
